Uniting Women Through Golf for a Greater Purpose
In 2006, a group of Central Florida Women golfers, who all relocated from various regions of the country, decided to informally meet to develop a plan for a quality invitational golf tournament in Central Florida, hosted by the informal group. Our initial goal was to invite women from across the country who might enjoy a quality golf experience in the Greater Orlando Area, while providing a professional and social network for women golfers. During the preliminary stages we decided we needed a more meaningful purpose.
Our goal and purpose evolved into a mission to financially support and mentor young minority women aspiring to play on the LPGA Tour, for whom the realization of that dream might not be possible without the much needed financial and mentoring support. Our goal is to solve the problem by making available the financial and mentoring resources of Sisters Across America. In doing so, we will enable qualified talented individuals to concentrate on developing their golfing skills and playing on the LPGA Tour.
Since 2006 our membership has grown from a group of women in Florida to women across the country. We have membership from the West Coast of California, throughout the Midwest cities of Chicago and Minneapolis to the East Coast; Our footprint extends from New York down the coast to Florida. As our membership grows it allows us to support and mentor more young women.
Our membership consists of golfers and non-golfers who are bound by the passion for our mission. We
are both enthusiastic women golfers, as well as women who do not golf but have a passion for and
believe in our Mission. We embrace our activities with respect, integrity, and teamwork.
Sister Across America, Inc. is a 501©3, not for profit organization, committed to carrying out the Vision,
Mission, and Goals of our organization.

Meet
The road to the LPGA tour bears a tremendous financial burden. The annual cost for competitive play and professional training exceeds $50,000. Our board of directors are a team assembled to ensure that SAA carries out its mission. We know the challenge for those young, minority women pursuing professional golf careers and believe that with teamwork and great planning we can support that mission.
